Evidence of God and His plan

In the last couple weeks God has continually confirmed to us that His plan is for us to go to training with International Teams. One thing in particular is His provision of 4,000 dollars from a generous supporter. Training is around 5,000. Thank You God! It is so cool when we as believers in Christ take a step of faith and then He confirms that step and then we take another and then He confirms that one and then we take another one. Cool. We fly out a week from this Saturday. A week and a half. Please pray for our travels. And if you would need some prayer for anything please let us know how we can pray for you. mattheum@yahoo.com

This is a picture from our trip in January 05. We went to an orphanage and we were able to bring lots of clothes for them. It was short but very cool to be able to show love to these kids. We told them the true meaning of Christmas. They celebrate on News Years a holiday but it is not about Jesus. So we told them about Jesus.

Employee of the year!

For the last ten months my beautiful wife has worked very hard to help with the financial debt that we incurred from graduate school. She is an amazing woman. She is also a loving and compassionate mom. Thank You sweetheart!

Kids Playing Mouse Trap

While Jason & Sheila are in Africa their kids enjoy playing games with their cousins. We have had a full house but these kids have been gems. Good kids and very helpful. Way to go Parents!

We have had so much rain there are actual weeds growing in the yard. Today was hot and a tad humid.

Nana is back from Oregon and her eye is healing. Yeah!

Susan finishes her job soon and we are reading the books and doing assignments for the coming training in September. We bought our plane tickets a week ago and we have a date to get the kids passports in process. Please pray that we get everything done in a timely manner and that raising financial support begins well.

Who are we?

We are a family of 6 who love Jesus. Our sole desire is to let others know about the love of Jesus and how - if we let Him - He will change our lives. He can turn mourning into joy. Anger into love. Hatred to peace. He can move mountains.

We want to tell people about the hope that can be found in Jesus. Could you imagine no more pain . . . sorrow . . . fighting . . . war? God has arranged for that kind of peace through a relationship with Him. To know his Son, to believe that He is the Son, he has paid our debt, and He will come back someday. That is hope. Knowing God will make all things right in the end and then there will be pure peace. In the meantime He changes our hearts to be more loving, more peaceful, more patient, kind, less envious, less proud, more hopeful, and more trustful. We all need to hear this message, but we feel led to show the people this message where God has placed us to live.

Our family verse is Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose."
