Visiting Appleton with Em

O.K. so the time has finally arrived and we are leaving for Wisconsin. My friends Antonio & Cassie are getting married and I will be performing the wedding on June 3rd in Appleton. Then for the rest of the week we will be hanging out and seeing all of our friends. We will be in Appleton till the 9th of June. Hope to see all of you!

Preaching this Sunday

I'm preaching on Acts 21:1-26 this Sunday. Called "Fear of the known" or "Live for Christ or die trying." Basically Paul is going to Jerusalem because God wants him to go but the future looks grim. A prophet and Phillips daughters prophecy that Paul will be bound up and thrown into prison. In "The Message" in verse 13-16 it says that Paul told the people weeping about his departure that the issue is not what they will do to me in Jerusalem but the issue is what will Christ do in Jerusalem because of my obedience.

"What will Christ do because of our obedience." It is about passion in our lives and I am sking for prayer because I seem to have lost some of my passion.

Paying debt

We have been in a long process of paying off all of our school loans so that we could go work overseas. We recently sold our Saturn and along with other loans we have paid off a total of 12 thousand dollars in 6 months. :) Yeah! Praise God!

Tonight we are celebrating Susan's birthday by going to her parents house and BBQing! It is so nice to be near family at this time.

A new thang

We are putting together a place where you, our friends, can come and look to see what is new with the colemans.

Who are we?

We are a family of 6 who love Jesus. Our sole desire is to let others know about the love of Jesus and how - if we let Him - He will change our lives. He can turn mourning into joy. Anger into love. Hatred to peace. He can move mountains.

We want to tell people about the hope that can be found in Jesus. Could you imagine no more pain . . . sorrow . . . fighting . . . war? God has arranged for that kind of peace through a relationship with Him. To know his Son, to believe that He is the Son, he has paid our debt, and He will come back someday. That is hope. Knowing God will make all things right in the end and then there will be pure peace. In the meantime He changes our hearts to be more loving, more peaceful, more patient, kind, less envious, less proud, more hopeful, and more trustful. We all need to hear this message, but we feel led to show the people this message where God has placed us to live.

Our family verse is Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose."
